Special Machine Design

Pinnacle has broad, deep experience in the design, engineering and integration of
custom machinery to lift, carry, form, and assemble product.  We are well-versed in the
preparation of load, drive and all other calculations needed to optimize a machine or
system for these demanding applications. 

As with all other Pinnacle core specialties, we can detail your concept, or provide a
comprehensive solution, from concept through detailed drawings.  We often work to
specific objectives such as:

• Shortening total cycle times
• reducing manual handling, and improving material flow
• streamlining throughput by eliminating unnecessary stages – or staging
• designing a solution that fits a space with a constrained height, footprint, or both
• improving ergonomics
• automating a process that’s hazardous, or extremely precise, using robotics,
  machine vision and other automation tools
• minimizing work-in-process

Pinnacle provides special machine design for a broad range of parts handling applications.

As one example, we recently designed the device that receives stainless steel plate
from a loading area, moves it to a furnace, retrieves the heat treated metal from the
furnace and feeds it into a roll forming machine.  We also design custom parts handling
and transfer machinery for distribution centers.
